What would each Shopify post-purchase upsell app cost you?

These apps run the same one-click offer after checkout, but they bill on four different things, so their listed prices cannot be compared. Put your upsell revenue in and we price all of them at your volume, cheapest first, with ours in the table.

How much extra revenue do your post-purchase upsells earn you a month?

Not your store’s revenue, just the extra that the after-checkout offer puts on top. The percentage-billed apps charge on exactly this, so it is the main number we need. All figures are USD.

Extra revenue from post-purchase upsells$2,000

The assumptions we use for the apps that bill on your order count. Change any of them.

Kaching, Aftersell and Upsell.com bill on how many orders your store takes, not on upsell revenue, so we work your order count out from the numbers below. Put in your real figures and every price updates.

At your volume

4 apps are free, and the cheapest paid one is AOV.ai Post Purchase Upsell at $4.99 a month

Libautech AI Post Purchase runs the after-checkout offer for free, and so do EcomRise and Xboost. Ours is new with no reviews yet, so weigh that against the proven paid apps below. As your upsell revenue grows, the percentage apps rise while the free ones stay at zero.

Ticked only where the vendor’s own listing describes an AI feature that picks or builds the offer. Shopify’s “AI recommendations” category chip appears on most listings and does not count.

Prices are what each vendor would charge at the volume above, read from their live App Store listing. Order-billed apps use the order count worked out from your inputs; the percentage apps charge on the upsell revenue you set. Figures dated on the page below.

Why the listed prices lie

Billed on your order count. Kaching, Aftersell and Upsell.com (ReConvert) charge by how many orders your whole store takes, whether or not the upsell touched them. The bill is predictable but rises with your store even if the offer earns nothing new.

Billed as a percentage of upsell revenue. Vanga, ReSell’s free plan and Post Purchase Upsell Hero take a cut of only the extra revenue the offer earns, so a quiet month costs little. It is the safest model for a small store and the most expensive for one whose upsells earn a lot.

Free to a cap, then flat. AOV.ai is free until the offer has earned you $200, then a flat $4.99 a month. AMP is free for its post-purchase offer and charges only for its other placements, so post-purchase alone is free.

Free. EcomRise, Xboost and Libautech AI Post Purchase carry no subscription and no usage charge. The trade is maturity: the free apps have fewer reviews and less of a track record than the paid leaders, and ours has no reviews yet.

Questions

Why can't I just compare the monthly prices on the App Store?
Because they are not prices for the same thing. Kaching, Aftersell and Upsell.com bill on your order count; Vanga, ReSell and Post Purchase Upsell Hero take a percentage of the extra revenue the upsell earns; AOV.ai is free to a revenue cap then a flat fee; and EcomRise, Xboost and ours are simply free. Four different meters, so the only honest comparison is to price them all at your volume.
Which post-purchase upsell app is cheapest?
Several cost nothing: Libautech AI Post Purchase, EcomRise and Xboost are free, and AMP is free for its post-purchase offer. Among the apps that charge, the cheapest depends on your volume, which is the point of the calculator. It names the cheapest charging app at the numbers you enter.
How do the percentage apps work out?
Post Purchase Upsell Hero takes 2.5% of your first $20,000 of upsell revenue each month and nothing above that. Vanga is $9 a month plus 5% of upsell revenue. ReSell's free plan is 5% of the extra revenue, or you can switch it to a flat tier. Percentage billing is cheap when upsell revenue is small and gets expensive as it grows, so the calculator prices them on the revenue you set.
Your app is free. Is it actually any good?
It runs one AI-chosen post-purchase offer that the shopper accepts in a click, with no second checkout, and it is free with no usage charge. We will be straight about it: it is new, it has no reviews yet, and it does not carry the Built for Shopify badge. EcomRise and Xboost are free too. Free removes the cost risk, but the paid leaders like Upsell.com and Aftersell have the track record.
Where do these numbers come from?
Every figure is read from the vendor's own live Shopify App Store listing as of August 5, 2026. Post-purchase pricing changes often, so confirm the current numbers on the listing before you install. If you find one out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
